The Indian Army has released a notification for recruiting civilians into the Territorial Army. This is a golden opportunity for those who wish to serve their country without leaving their civilian jobs. The Territorial Army is a voluntary part-time force that complements the regular Army in times of national emergency.

The Territorial Army has released the notification for civilian vacancies for which application forms will commence from 15th July and the last date has been set on 12th September.

Indian TA Vacancy Educational Qualification

For this recruitment, candidates should be graduates in any subject from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with degrees in Cyber Security or Computer Science. Indian TA Vacancy Age Limit

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 42 years. Age will be calculated per the notification, and reserved category candidates will be eligible for age relaxation following government regulations.

Indian TA Vacancy Selection Process

Candidates will initially be shortlisted for a written examination based on document verification. The exam will be held in October and will be worth 100 marks. A minimum score of 60% is required to qualify. Successful candidates will then proceed to a practical test (100 marks). Those who pass the practical test will be interviewed by a Board of Officers from the Directorate General of Regional Services (300 marks). The final stage will involve medical and document verification, followed by joining as per the rules.
