Lado Protsahan Yojana: Govt is giving assistance of 1 lakh rupees to all daughters

The state government has launched the Lado Protsahan Yojana to provide financial support to their daughters. Under this scheme, eligible girls will receive a substantial sum of ₹1 lakh.

Lado Protshan Yojana is launched to benefit poor girls across this state to develop a positive change in society towards the girl child and to improve their health and educational well-being. This scheme was launched on 1st August 2024 in the entire state of Rajasthan. If you also have a daughter in your house, then now you do not need to worry. Lado Protsahan Yojana has been started to provide a saving bond of Rs 1 lakh on the birth of girls of poor families.

Lado Protsahan Yojana Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Lado Protsahan Yojana generally include:

  • Family Income: The family’s annual income must be below a specified threshold.
  • Caste Category: The girl must belong to one of the target categories, such as SC, ST, or EWS.
  • Residence: The family must be a resident of Rajasthan.
  • Under the scheme, the applicant must have all the required documents like a Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, BPL Card, etc.

Benefits of Lado Protsahan Yojana

The scheme provides financial assistance at various stages of a girl’s life, helping to alleviate financial burdens and support her education and development.

  • 7 Installments: The ₹1 lakh will be paid in 7 installments directly to the beneficiary’s account through DBT.
  • Parental Account: The first 6 installments will be transferred to the girl’s parents’ account.
  • Direct to Girl: The 7th installment will be transferred directly to the girl’s bank account.

How to Apply for Lado Protsahan Yojana

The Lado Protsahan Yojana in Rajasthan has specific application procedures and requirements. Here’s a summary of the key points:

Candidates need to submit the necessary documents to the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department or through nearby e-Mitra or Anganwadi centers. During the ANC check-up of the pregnant woman, relevant details like a native of Rajasthan certificate, marriage registration certificate, and bank account details will be collected and maintained by the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department.

The collected information will be entered into the PCTS portal. Each girl child will be assigned a unique PCTS ID number at birth for tracking and future reference.
